For what reasons might I receive only a partial refund if I cancel my order?

Dried flowers in your possession: Fill out the form, complete payment, then mail your flowers at your convenience.
Fresh flowers in your possession: For best results, fill out the form, complete payment, then mail your flowers via OVERNIGHT mail. The quality, color and shape of your flowers (and therefore the resulting item) is highly impacted by how fresh they are before they are put through the drying process. Flowers that are already wilting or browning will result in dried flowers that reflect that condition. Photos will be taken of your flowers upon arrival.
Letting ResinBlume source your flowers. This option adds an additional $20 fee to your order. ResinBlume will make every effort to locate and purchase the flower species of your choice. If your flowers cannot be located, you will be given an opportunity to select a different species or receive a refund of your payment.

It is important that your order be “workable”. If your flowers dry flat with little depth, the entire flower should easily fit within the mold for your item. But if your flowers have significant depth, it may only be possible to use the petals in your item. Example: Daisy Poms will dry flat, so your item will contain complete Daisy Pom flowers. (See Trinket Box: Style A for example of Daisy Poms.) Roses, however, have significant depth, so only the petals of your roses will be put into your item. (See the Cuff Bangle for example of Roses.)

Upon submitting your order, you may receive one or more Emails with additional questions or with information about the “workability” of your item. Prompt response to Emails is necessary. Failure to respond promptly may result in cancelation of your order.

If – for whatever reason – your order is canceled, you may receive only a partial refund depending on the amount of time/material that has already been invested in the order. Also, flowers may or may not be returnable. Any return of flowers will be at your expense.

The entire process takes approximately 30-60 days post sourcing of your flowers.

A flat shipping fee of $20 is added to each order that cannot be delivered in person. In-person delivery is only available for customers within 50 miles of New Braunfels, TX, or willing to meet half-way within that range.

FAQs

Not necessarily. The size and depth of the shape you selected will determine the amount of flowers or flower petals used. Also, it's often nice too have the item be "sparse" with flowers instead of packed with flowers!

Extra flowers will not be returned! If you have selected a shape that just doesn't suit your flowers, we will let you know and discuss options.

No. Some flowers are simply too dense/fleshy/milky to preserve. Examples include lilies, tulips and any kind of succulent. Other flowers that are tissue-thin are also difficult to dry, as they become too brittle. On submitting an order, you will be asked to provide information on the kinds of flowers that will be in your bouquet. Any concerns will be discussed with you via Email before we begin your project.

There are limitations related to selected shape size, bouquet size, flower type, add-ons wanted, etc. that may make your order "unworkable". If you want to force a large flower or large number of flowers into a small shape, that will be unworkable. If you want to use succulent flowers, that may be unworkable or may add extensive time to your order.

Essentially, if your request would not result in a beautiful, high-quality, Forever Bloom that you will cherish forever, we'd rather cancel the order and return your deposit. However, we will make every effort to come to an agreement with you to make your order workable.

Even though we use methods designed to retain original color and shape as much as possible, almost all flowers have a bit of a color change when dried. Reds and purples tend to get darker, sometimes close to black! Darker pinks often change to purple. White flowers may become more translucent and change to a cream color. Light pinks, yellows and blues seem to keep their color best.

We will take photos of the flowers in the condition in which they arrived and get confirmation from you that you still want your Forever Bloom created. If you do not want to move forward with your order, your payment will be refunded. Your flowers will not be returned. (This applies only to fresh flowers you ship or flowers purchased by ResinBlume. Dried flowers you shipped can be returned, at your expense.)

You should expect to receive your order within 30 to 60 days after we receive or source your flowers. We will keep in touch with you to advise you of progress and will let you know if the order will ship later than expected.

On cancelation of your order, we will do our best to provide a full refund if possible. However, multiple steps of the process to create your item consume time and materials that cannot be recovered. If drying has started, the materials used cannot be reused for a period of time. If resin has been poured, it cannot be recovered at all. Your partial refund, or the refusal of any refund, will reflect unrecoverable time and materials.
